Mrs Yilmaz is teaching Turkish to Turkish background students at Auburn Public School. She has been teaching at various TAFE Colleges and high schools. She believed that teaching and learning experience should exceed the current limits of students. She also thinks that teacher responsibility is to give the students tools to use to learn and become better learner. She also believes that the teacher provides opportunities for students to take own responsibility of their own learning.Mrs. Yilmaz also believes that teacher and students' relationship is the key factor for students' success. Therefore, the teacher should have better understanding of students' cultural background. This is because it helps the teacher and students relationship gets stronger. As it is known that strong and positive relationship produces successful outcomes.
