Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:

Stage 2 Geography Incursion
Date: 27th March 2025
Stage 2 participated in an incursion to support their learning in Geography. The incursion was run by Ranger Jamie Tours. Students participated in different activities learning about how they can protect the environment.
Book Week
Date: 21st August 2025
Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.
Open day
Date: 5th August 2025
School open day is an opportunity for students, parents and carers to get to know our school.
Indigenous Games Day
Date: 1st August 2025
We celebrated the end of NAIDOC week with Indigenous Games Day. Students participated in a variety of hands-on Indigenous games and read about the history of Indigenous Games.
Green Slip Day
Date: Last week of the term
Green Slip Day is a reward day for students who stayed 'green' throughout the term, as part of our PBL behaviour progam. Each stage holds a different Green Slip Day activity.
SRC Fundraising
Date: Throughout the school year
Our SRC hold several fundraising events to raise funds for SRC chosen charities such as Red Nose Day and Jeans for Genes Day.

Culture Connects Us All
Thursday 26th March 2026
We warmly invite parents and families to join us for a special day at our school as we come together to recognise and appreciate the rich diversity within our community.
Throughout the day, there will be a range of exciting events, including:

- And a few surprises for everyone to enjoy
Sydney Zoo Excursion Stage 3
Friday 27th March 2026
This excursion will support what the students are learning in Science this term. Stage 3 students will get face-to-face with incredible creatures and uncover the secrets of survival in the animal kingdom. This hands-on program dives into structural and behavioural adaptations, protecting global environments, specifically looking at the charismatic chimpanzee's habitat, and the role humans can play in conserving wildlife. With interactive activities including meeting ambassador animals along the way, students will explore how animals survive in their environments and how we can protect them. It's science, sustainability, and adventure all rolled into one excursion workshop.
Starr's Planetarium Incursion Stage 2
Friday 27th March 2026
This incursion will support what Stage 2 students are learning in Science this term. Students will step inside an incredible 360° dome theatre to explore the wonders of space. They’ll travel from the stars above to the farthest parts of the universe, seeing stunning 4K images and hearing surround sound that makes the experience feel very real. Through this hands-on, interactive program, students will discover planets, stars, and galaxies while learning about the night sky and how the universe works. It’s science, space, and adventure all rolled into one exciting incursion.
