National Science Week

Date: Week 5

Get ready to celebrate National Science Week with us! Throughout the week, students will take part in a range of exciting hands-on investigations, experiments and STEM challenges that spark curiosity and inspire a love of learning. Science Week is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore, question and discover the world around them while developing their scientific thinking and problem-solving skills.. As part of the celebrations, students will also enjoy the thrilling Mad About Science Show, featuring exciting demonstrations and interactive experiments that make science fun, engaging and unforgettable.

Book Week

Date: Week 6 and 7

We are excited to celebrate Book Week with a week of activities that inspire a love of reading and storytelling. Students will enjoy engaging classroom experiences, book-themed activities and our annual Book Week Parade, where they are encouraged to dress as their favourite book character. Together, we will celebrate the wonderful world of books and encourage a lifelong passion for reading and imagination.

140th Birthday Assembly

Date: 28th August 2026

Join us as we celebrate our school's 140th Birthday with a special commemorative assembly. This milestone event will honour our rich history, recognise the achievements of past and present students and staff, and celebrate the strong sense of community that has shaped our school over the past 140 years. We look forward to reflecting on our journey and celebrating this memorable occasion together.

Green Slip Day

Date: 24th September 2026

We are excited to celebrate Green Slip Day, a special reward for students who have consistently demonstrated our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) values throughout the term. Students who have remained on green will enjoy a range of fun stage-based activities in recognition of their positive choices, respectful behaviour and commitment to learning. It will be a fantastic day to celebrate and reward the outstanding efforts of our students.
