School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.

Education Week Open Day
Date: 7th August 2026
Our Education Week Open Day will provide families with the opportunity to visit classrooms, explore student learning and experience the engaging teaching and learning taking place across our school. We look forward to welcoming our community as we celebrate learning and the strong partnerships between home and school.
Books to Life Show
Date: 12th August 2026
We are excited to welcome Books To Life to our school for an engaging live performance that will bring a beloved picture book to life. Through storytelling, music, dance, puppetry, costumes, props and audience participation, students will experience the magic of literature in a fun and interactive way.
This memorable performance will inspire a love of reading, spark creativity and encourage students to connect with stories in a whole new way. We look forward to sharing this exciting learning experience with our students.
Commonwealth Games Day
Date: 13th August 2026
Get ready for an action-packed Commonwealth Games Day! Students will enjoy a range of fun sporting challenges and team activities inspired by the Commonwealth Games, while developing teamwork, resilience and sportsmanship. It will be a fantastic opportunity for everyone to get active, challenge themselves and celebrate the spirit of friendly competition.
National Science Week
Date: Week 5
Get ready to celebrate National Science Week with us! Throughout the week, students will take part in a range of exciting hands-on investigations, experiments and STEM challenges that spark curiosity and inspire a love of learning. Science Week is a wonderful opportunity for students to explore, question and discover the world around them while developing their scientific thinking and problem-solving skills.. As part of the celebrations, students will also enjoy the thrilling Mad About Science Show, featuring exciting demonstrations and interactive experiments that make science fun, engaging and unforgettable.
Book Week
Date: Week 6 and 7
We are excited to celebrate Book Week with a week of activities that inspire a love of reading and storytelling. Students will enjoy engaging classroom experiences, book-themed activities and our annual Book Week Parade, where they are encouraged to dress as their favourite book character. Together, we will celebrate the wonderful world of books and encourage a lifelong passion for reading and imagination.
140th Birthday Assembly
Date: 28th August 2026
Join us as we celebrate our school's 140th Birthday with a special commemorative assembly. This milestone event will honour our rich history, recognise the achievements of past and present students and staff, and celebrate the strong sense of community that has shaped our school over the past 140 years. We look forward to reflecting on our journey and celebrating this memorable occasion together.
Green Slip Day
Date: 24th September 2026
We are excited to celebrate Green Slip Day, a special reward for students who have consistently demonstrated our Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) values throughout the term. Students who have remained on green will enjoy a range of fun stage-based activities in recognition of their positive choices, respectful behaviour and commitment to learning. It will be a fantastic day to celebrate and reward the outstanding efforts of our students.

Term 2 Community Lunch
Date: 2nd of July
Our Term 2 Community Lunch brought together parents, carers and staff to share a variety of delicious food and enjoy time together. It was a wonderful opportunity to connect, celebrate our diverse school community and strengthen the partnerships between home and school.
Athletics Carnival
Date: 12th of June
Our Athletics Carnival was a fantastic day filled with energy, teamwork and school spirit! Students had the opportunity to participate in a variety of track and field events, showcasing their athletic skills, determination and sportsmanship throughout the day.
Spelling Bee Stage Finals
Date: 9th of June
Our Stage Spelling Bee Finals were a fantastic celebration of spelling, confidence and perseverance. Students showcased their impressive spelling skills and courage as they competed in front of their peers. We are incredibly proud of all participants for their effort and determination, and congratulations to our finalists and winners on an outstanding achievement!
Stage 1 Excursion- Taronga Zoo
Date: 21st of May
Stage 1 students enjoyed an exciting excursion to Taronga Zoo Sydney, where they explored a wide variety of animals and learned about habitats, adaptations, and conservation. This hands-on learning experience allowed students to deepen their understanding through engaging and interactive activities.
Cross Country
Date: Friday 24th April 2026
Our school Cross Country was an exciting event, with students showing determination, resilience and great sportsmanship throughout their races. It was fantastic to see everyone encouraging one another and striving to achieve their personal best on such a fun and active day!
Sydney Zoo Excursion Stage 3
Date: Friday 27th March 2026
Stage 3 participated in an excursion to support their learning in Science. The excursion was run at the zoo, where students engaged in a range of activities focused on animal adaptations and environmental conservation. Students explored how animals survive in their environments and learnt about the role humans can play in protecting wildlife.
Culture Connects Us All
Date: Thursday 26th March 2026
We warmly invited parents and families to join us for a special day at our school as we came together to recognise and appreciate the rich diversity within our community.
Throughout the day, there was a range of events, including a parents and staff luncheon, cultural performances, and the announcement of our Harmony Day competition winners.
Stage 2 Geography Incursion
Date: 27th March 2025
Stage 2 participated in an incursion to support their learning in Geography. The incursion was run by Ranger Jamie Tours. Students participated in different activities learning about how they can protect the environment.
Book Week
Date: 21st August 2025
Book Week is a special time at our school where we celebrate a love of reading. Students take part in fun activities throughout the week.
Open day
Date: 5th August 2025
School open day is an opportunity for students, parents and carers to get to know our school.
Indigenous Games Day
Date: 1st August 2025
We celebrated the end of NAIDOC week with Indigenous Games Day. Students participated in a variety of hands-on Indigenous games and read about the history of Indigenous Games.
Green Slip Day
Date: Last week of the term
Green Slip Day is a reward day for students who stayed 'green' throughout the term, as part of our PBL behaviour program. Each stage holds a different Green Slip Day activity.
SRC Fundraising
Date: Throughout the school year
Our SRC hold several fundraising events to raise funds for SRC chosen charities such as Red Nose Day and Jeans for Genes Day.
